what i like about this, and the thing that makes it feel more real, is the fact that there is no focus settings icon, because this is a laptop, most probably its a fixed focused lens.

This actually answers a lot of questions for me. Now it does seem that all metro apps really are universal (at least from phone to desktop for now). Imagine loading a wp app that hasn't yet been made available on the desktop (like Groupme) and using your keyboard to type into it with no issues. Of course it is better to have it tailored to both form factors, but this solves a lot of problems and questions ive had!
