Windows 8.1 backgrounds for WP8??

So I played with my friends windows 8 computer and noticed he can choose some basic type of background for his tile screen besides the plain color. Its mostly still muted for the tiles to pop but its definitely more interesting then just a black or white option.

I was wondering if there were any indications windows phone would get this ? Its the small things Microsoft , I for one would like to have this a lot.

Quite possible, but you can't say for sure. I would also like that feature.

I'd like this too. It would be cool to use the same background on my PCs and on my phone.
