Windows 8.1 Update 2, what's happening?

Only had the Jr a week or so and really like it. Sold my 830 and returned a 930, too big and heavy for what I need. It did some updates a few days back but it is showing "...Phone 8.1 Update," so I assume that is only Update-1?

How do we get Update-2? Since the phone has never been locked to a carrier, who are we waiting on?

Not sure that Update-2 is all that important, just wondering though.

With all the effort being put into Win 10 most people believe only phones that come with Win 8.1/update2 will ever get it. The rest of us will never see it. At least in the USA.

Several sources state that Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2 will be coming to the Lumia 735 and 830. When that occurs is anybody's guess. :-/

You probably won't get it until it comes as part of Win10. So don't expect 8.1.2 anytime soon. Just wait for Win10. 8.1.2 is more like a stopgap
