Windows 8 integration?

I tried plugging my focus into a spare system I installed Win8 consumer preview on. Didn't seem to do a lot (apart from start to charge) I did see the focus appear in devices, and the icon seemed to look like a media player.

Apart from that, there seemed to be very little going on. I heard that Zune desktop was going away in windows 8, I was hoping to catch a glimpse at how they were going to handle the WP and the Zune (I have a HD, might try to connect that tonight)

Did anyone else try this? what did y'all see (if anything)

i'm running the windows 8 consumer preview as well, you still need zune to sync stuff

Hi Brad, yeah I figured that. I installed that on the dev preview before. I was just wondering if they'd baked any integration into the consumer preview that was outside zune desktop that we could check out.

maybe they will in RC or final version apparently nothing much in the CP
i know that apps are 6 months behind the os development according to paul thurrott
