Windows 8 Music app - local and cloud files?

Hello WPS.
Not exactly phone related, but nonetheless I've had no results anywhere else.
So I have Windows 8.1 pro installed on my laptop, I had to get a new HDD as my other broke. Now, luckily all the music on there was stored on the cloud server on the Windows 8 music app. Is there any way I can download these back onto my new HDD? I can access them via the app, but I want to have the local files to put onto other devices.

I'm pretty sure its possible, but im not entirely sure how you have your Music set up.

I think what you are trying to do is just download your cloud collection to your device. Find the album or song you would like to download, and drag it to the left. Should have like a bump animation that pulls up a new app bar at the bottom. Select the "download" button and it should begin downloading.

If you are now looking for the music in the file explorer, it is located in My PC > Music > Xbox Music > Subscription Cache
