Windows 8/Windows 8 Phone Question

Hello,

I just updated my mother's laptop to Windows 8 and I was thinking about upgrading her phone from Android to a Windows 8 phone.

With her Android phone, her contacts are synced to her Gmail and her photos/videos are automatically uploaded to Google+.

Does Windows 8/Windows 8 phone have similar features?

Any suggestions on a phone; I was looking at the HTC X8, Nokia 920 and 925. Oh, we're with AT&T.

It does, you would need to migrate her to Outlook though. But all contacts sync, and you have an option in the photos setting to automatically upload photos. One caveat though, uploading the best quality pictures will require WIFI access.
