Windows 9?

Any idea on if the Nokia Lumia 2520 will get Windows 9? Or will it just keep Windows 8?

There's no official word, but I would assume both the 2520 and the surface 2 will get Windows 9

They're supposed to have a special press event with details on Windows 9 tomorrow 9/30/2014 but it's not going to be streamed live like others have been in the past

The version of Windows after 8 as of this date will be known as Windows 10. MS is skipping "9" for a number of legit reasons -- the most important being the avoidance of application compatibility issues surrounding Windows "95." Evidently this may be problematic.

Windows 10 for ARM devices, including Nokia and Microsoft Surface RT tablets and all Windows Phones, as of this date is expected to be released sometime "well into 2015" according to a recent press report. The Windows 10 Technical release available now is chiefly designed for enterprise evaluation of keyboard/mouse usability.
