Windows Experts??Desktop freezes during Restarts/Shutdown.
There is a problem with my laptop running Windows 10.It showed up few days ago,Whenever i restarts it or starts it up after being shutdown,It loads till desktop and freezes there.Mouse cursor can be moved around but we cannot click any items in the desktop or taskbar.It stays like that for long.
I can open the Task Manager by pressing alt+ctrl+delete and opening the taskmanager from there.Nothing else can be done.If i click shutdown or restart from security options it shows shutting down/restarting but then that too freezes there.I have to take out the battery to shut it down.It will work only by restarting after one hour.
That little up arrow icon near the battery icon does not show up when this happens.
Does anyone here know what has happened to the PC?
I cannot shutdown the Laptop due to this issue because it will freeze when i start it again.I am just closing the lid and putting it to sleep.
