Windows Central Question

What ever happened to it? It was pegged to be released at Q4 of this year, but IFA has come and gone and not a single device has been announced. I also haven't seen any sort of update on the matter.

Does anyone know what is going on with it?

Windows 10 on ARM is a part of the Fall Creators Update - it's going to be released on October 17th for some devices and we can expect a few Windows 10 on ARM devices coming at the end of this year.

I am not so sure there will be any hardware available this year. I am thinking it will come first half of next year when the Snapdragon 845 is available. No point releasing hardware on year old CPU on cusp of a new generation. It just doesn't make any sense.

It does, I am sure there was an article on this very site mentioning that HP and other OEMs will have their devices ready by the end of this year. It makes sense because people need this kind of devices and OEMs can sell them right away since the devices are going to be thin and light and have great battery life. Microsoft not putting USB-C ports on Surface Pros doesn't make any sense as well but hey, they are selling them and apparently it's working.
