WPCentral Question

I got Windows on My Mac, I transferred 2 RAM over there and I have 6 RAM altogether. I want to buy a game that requires 6 RAM. Since my whole computer has 6 RAM, does is still work ( SO 4 RAM ON MAC AND 2 RAM ON WINDOWS AND I WANT TO BUY THE GAME ON WINDOWS)

Then the game will only see 2 GB. If you want to see all 6 GB and get the best performance out of windows, use bootcamp. The hassle with bootcamp is that you have to restart if you want to switch between windows and osx.

I'm talking about RAM not GB. And also, my question isn't quite answered. Though I do thank you for your help thus far.

Both hard disk and RAM space are measured in bytes or gigabytes (GB). I assumed you said you allowed windows to access 2 RAM (or 2 GB of your RAM). Is that what you meant to say?

No problem. Have you checked the properties in windows? It will tell you how much it can access.

I don't know how to do that in virtualbox. Search around in google.

Like I said, you will get the best performance using boot camp. In virtualbox you are running both osx and windows at the same time so they take a lot of resources in general.
