No doubt this will be interesting, with the merging of WP and RT and all that. My biggest concern is will MS ditch the x20 line (except for the 1520) or will they be upgradable. One thing i would like to see is more quick settings...

According to some rumors it might be announced after the DP of Windows Threshold comes out on 30th September this year. Although the features around are speculation. I just hope that MS make it more intuitive, like a complete notification center where we can fast reply text messages or instantly like a post on FB without the need of opening Facebook. Just like People app news feed mixed with the notification center including more options like mobile data toggle for example.

Yes, a more complete notification center would be perfect. And also one of the most requested features they could implement would be 2 different actions in the quick settings, one to just turn on/off and the other to actually get to that particular settings page...

Windows Phone 9 definitely exists. While it is a very real possibility that Microsoft will abandon Windows Phone within the next few years unless it picks up momentum, I really doubt it'll be within the next year which is when Windows Phone 9 is probably going to be released.

Plus the whole point of Windows Threshold is that it's unifying Windows Phone, Windows and Xbox, so of course there's going to be a Windows Phone component of that.
