To get started: Create an account or log in through Facebook. You will get five random spellers to follow throughout the competition. Have a special speller you want to follow? Simply share a Buzzworthy Hive invite code with your friends and family to unlock the opportunity to select one additional speller of your choice.
Now let?s play: Throughout the Preliminary, Semi Final and Final rounds of The Scripps National Spelling Bee you will earn points each time one of your spellers gets a word right.
Increase your chances to earn points: Connect with friends to create hives of spellers. When you join or create a Hive, your points are combined with other Hives. Compete against family, friends or coworkers to see who will earn the most points, and of course, earn the ultimate bragging rights if you have the national champion in your Hive!
