It's more than an "inconvenience" when you ignore the popup too many times and YT gives you 3 more videos to watch before they take away the player and therefore the ability to watch videos.

I've had the player removed, but have a simple workaround that still lets me watch their videos and block the ads (Hint: Browser private tab/window with uBO enabled).

I've gotten around the YT adds by using the Brave browser for all videos on there. No more ads.
