Agree, with pretty much all of it, except the prediction that WP is unlikely to advance or is headed towards death. I don't believe in IDC's predictions any more than I do in this one. Whether WP does or doesn't advance depends on MS, and whether they are happy to continue to play catch up, or if they will ever get around to doing something more disruptive. The source "study" says as much, but this blogger just decided to spin it negatively, when it could also have been spun positively. Unless somebody knows what MS is planning, these predictions are just guesswork. Your guess is as good as mine.
