Windows update question

I'm using a SP7 on Windows 1909. It doesn't recognize that there's an update to 2004, idk why. Whenever I open the settings app, there's a notice that Windows Updated needs attention. I click into it, it shows no pending updates. I click "check for updates", it gives me no updates, maybe a Windows Defender definition update. I do not have updated paused, nor am I trying to prevent updates in any way. So, any ideas on what's going on with it?

not all computers have 2004 available at this time for whatever reason. you can try manually update but be forewarned, there could be a technical reason it is not being offered to you at this time.

As already mentioned, your PC may not be eligible for it just yet. You may be able to force thee upgrade using Windows Update Assistant, but that is not recommended.
