Windows won't boot up on my Surface Pro 3

I'm having a strange problem with my surface; its been pretty flawed since the day I got it, but just recently, after attempted to downlod updates to windows, as prompted by windows, my SP3 will no longer boot up. It's not completely frozen, however. It turns on, appears to load the surface logo, shows the spinning dots below it, then goes black. It then turns on again, surface logo reappears, loads, turns off, and so on and so on. It only stops if I shut it off completely. Is there any way to save this tablet?
