Words with Friends crashing on the Lumia 520 while updating games

I just got my 520 and the first app I bought was words with friends. I've been running it on my Android phones and my ipad so its a mainstay on any device. However, after signing in and trying to load the games, it will always crash no matter what. Never even seen a game board yet. Restart doesn't help. I bet its a memory problem since WWF is inefficient and the 520 only has 512MB. Does anyone know of any workarounds to make it work? I bet closing some of my two dozen games will work, but that defeats the purpose of having WWF on my phone to begin with. I don't think you can manually manage memory in WP either...

I'm not sure what the problem could be, but I am running Words with friends on my 520 no problem.

WWF was probably my favourite game on WP8, but also the most buggiest. It crashes on my L920 too. Only work-around is just to reinstall and try again til it does work. It will still crash again at some point. There's also very little support from the makers, Zynga. At present, I just moved over to the game "Angry Words" which is similar in style, but doesn't crash and loads in about 2 seconds.

This and draw something have horrible reviews all about crashing and performance issues. Wordfeud or words by post are great alternatives.
