Wore in Shower, Battery Life became really bad

I accidentally wore my Band to the shower last Friday. I realized it about 8 or so minutes in, and promptly pulled it off, but still, it was soaking in there for around 8 minutes. The Band still worked, just it seems like its battery life got shot down after the endeavor. It's now been running out on me in the day. To test, I charged the band to 100% before sleeping today, and (I didn't get much sleep), 5 hours later when I woke up, it was reading 60% when I stuck it on the charger again. Will be checking it today as I wear it around, but has anyone else had something like this happen?

Sounds like one of the 2 batteries may have shorted out due to getting wet.

Happened to my digital watch (not something as sophisticated as the band, but it has batteries) and it died... If it kinda works still, take it in for a check up before it's too late.

The Band is not water proof, they say not to wear it in the shower or while swimming.
