Workable replacement for Facebook app

Two days ago the Facebook app stopped working on my WM8.1 phone (stopped updating the feeds) and the browser version at m.facebook.com is not very functional.

However, I found a bit of advice to use mbasic.facebook.com and while not looking as slick, does provide all the basic functionality needed to follow my feeds if the phone is all I have to hand while out and about.

Twitter website is now considered PWA so it basically functions as an app. Just use your phone browser.
