Would a microsoft store replace a phone that has a cracked screen?

My nokia lumia 520 is cracked and has some hardwear issues, would they replace it?

Only if you purchased it from them and also got the Microsoft Complete warranty. Otherwise, they will be no more willing to replace device with a cracked screen than any other store....

Is it because of a manufacturing defect or something that was their fault? (almost guaranteed not in this case) Then yes.

Is it because you broke your own device and want a free replacement or repair? Highly unlikely.
