With thunder bolt, creators, business and even more casual user, could really use the courier device to augment PC's and phones. Such as a usable mass storage device for raw recording or photos, being able to quickly upload and download from other devices and then view, manage and edit them on the mobile device. Also eGPU or co-processor to augment the ARM cpu maaaybee, that might just be crazy.

Also, I really don't know how much room on the board. To me it looks like it would only be a expensive, but when companies give excuses on why they don't add thunder bolt they often site space.

And then we could borrow those mac boys chargers.

Plus pass thru power and possibly linking devices.

The issue with Thunderbolt is that it needs intel hardware to run and that can take up alot of space. It's possible but the engineering challenges of merging a ARM SOC and prerequiste hardware to run Thunderbolt would take a considerable amount of effort and time.

I looked up what you were talking and now I see it. Yeah, that seems like it would be a challenge. But hey some times we should chose do things not because they are easy but because they are hard.
