WP 8.1 GDR1 Broke my videos

When I initially upgraded to 8.1 Dev preview I noticed that one of my streaming video websites no longer work. I figured the website needed to update. When I launch the video it would say something like, not support by browser.

Ok I wasn't upset because I would go to an alternative website and it worked. The video player is like how it works on youtube website on windows phone. Meaning it can be played on the page and you can maximize it if you want to. There was also a slider bar for forwarding and rewinding.

After GDR1..... it reverted the website video player back to how it was on 8.0 meaning when you launch it it would open in full screen and you would have to use the on screen buttons (<<, >, >>) to rewind, play and forward. I really hate this format..... anyone else experiencing this and is there a work around?

Maybe try changing to Desktop view in the settings?

I will try this later and see if this fixes the issue. Thx for the advice. I will update later with results.
