I been experiencing random call drops around 4:53 mins into a wifi call. It can't be my wifi signal seeing how the router is in my room, where I make most of my phone calls. Just wanted to know if other people are experiencing a similar problem or if its just me.

I haven't experienced a dropped call, but my mother complained about my voice going in and out when we spoke when my phone was on Wi-Fi Calling.

I've now been in possession of four different IMEI's, one more on it's way back from warranty repair. I've had them on basic 8.0 tot Preview to the alleged latest and greatest official TMO 8.1 upgrade. I've also owned five phones with WFC since 2006.

Unless I am just the runt of the luck litter, I think it reasonable to pronounce the 925 as a complete, total, waste time and technology when it comes to WFC.

Which is why I bought the first one. Also huge connectivity issues on all of them. Not up to Nokia standards. Avoid this phone.

I had nothing but problems with T-Mobile and Wi-Fi calling with both a 925 and a 521. Calls dropped for no reason texts not being received or sent etc.. I switched to cricket and everything is great with my 925. Don't blame the phone blame the carrier.

I have a theory: Why is T-Mobile practically giving away $200 routers which are set up just for Wi-Fi calling? They aren't doing it just because they are nice guys. Wi-Fi calling is one of their selling points and I don't think all was going well in Wi-Fi land. Why else would they have a router program?

I also switched to Cricket with a 925. Your statement is a little misleading though in that Cricket doesn't have WIFI calling. Of course, with Cricket you don't need WIFI calling since they are on a real network with 850 mhz frequencies for decent building penetration instead of a pretend WIFI one like T-Mobile pushes. I do think some of the WIFI calling issues with T-Mobile are caused by certain routers, but again if they were any kind of carrier at all, you wouldn't need WIFI.

You have WFC on Cricket? Well, that would be a shock. I've read ATT is going to roll out UMA/WFC this coming year, but I doubt if their poor cousin would have it. So how is everything great with your 925? And, I presume it's unlocked?

Gee I reread my post and I don't see where I inferred that Cricket had Wi-Fi calling...........oh well. I am really happy with Cricket even though there are a few locations where Wi-Fi calling would come in handy. I wish the other carriers would start providing Wi-Fi calling because in some situations it is outstanding.
