WP branding on phones - Yes or No?

Having watched Daniel's excellent review on the Ativ SE, I noticed the other Ativ's had the "Windows Phone" branding on the bottom on the phone (Dan did mention the lack of this on the SE), and like the look of it, and would like to see it on more WP's on the future. What do you all think?

Talking of which, I wonder if MS will do this with future Lumia's once the acquisition has gone ahead, with either Windows Phone or Microsoft branding on the back of the Lumia's. Thoughts, opinions etc?

Windows branding is fine, carrier branding is lame on the front of the phone!

Agreed, although we don't really have it here in the UK, certainly not to the extent the US has.

I also don't like carrier branding on phones. Not so much a problem for me anymore since I tend to buy sim free now. Brand name and the windows logo are sufficient I think.

Yeah I also buy sim free devices now, never liked the carrier splash screens either.
