WP bugs not resolved

Hello!

Am I alone tired of some WP bugs affecting many users (just see the threads on answers.microsoft.com) and for which it seems nothing is done, time passing?

Fighting these days with two very annoying bugs and having the feeling that there is a total disinterest from MS to solve them.

I'm a MS "power-user" and have owned 4 Windows Phones (from the Omnia7 to the Lumia 925), but I'm really loosing faith.....

I'm pretty sure the Skydrive Thumbnail issue is resolved in GDR2.

The thumbnail problem is not fixed in gdr2.

You need to open the album at least one to have the phone cache the thumbnails. Its for your data preservation.

No need to try to give solutions, there is no solution, this is a bug, still not resolved: after some time, no more thumbnails, just grey squares... :-(

These are minor compared to what they had to do with the other storage problem, and other "under the hood" problems they may have had to fix this go round. They have to triage the bugs just like an emergency room has to. minor ones get pushed off for future, while more pressing bugs get fixed. There are only so many hours in a day, and so many programmers that are on the team.

SkyDrive album cover is driving me nuts too. I know it's a small bug, but that's also the gripe. It's a small bug why is it taking so long to fix. Seriously. With and w/o the album cover makes a big difference in perceive value.

I wish they could really allow video attachments from library as well. WP is probably the only OS that doesn't allow this (i know it's not a "bug").

Other than obvious small bugs that shouldn't even be there in the first place, the OS is the best I've used. Slow "critical" updates are losing me though.

That's the thing. Some small bugs should be fixed asap, if they are "small" bugs. Even if these are pushed to the future, I haven't seen major updates in a long time. Not to mention their own Skype app is full of bugs and not even up to par against competitors, releasing new features to them leaving WP out. Now that's insane.

Strange it's been like this since day 1. The only time some albums had covers was when I moved photos to a new folder. But then turns grey again.
It's like having your app tiles turn grey. If this is done intentionally then it is a bad move.

Frankly I don't know what you guys are talking about. I got GDR2 on my Lumia 920 and I can see the thumbnails for all my SkyDrive folders in the Albums section of Photos. Even for folders that I haven't yet opened in my mobile.

I don't know which percent of persons are affected by this bug. Many are but apparantly not everybody. Thumbnails of all other Skydrive apps (Outlook.com, W8, Xbox,...) are working well, except in WP picture hub (since WP7!!)

Yep just the photo hub. But c'mon out of all it had to be the photo hub? Its been years hello.

I incorrectly reported that the Kid's Corner password issue had been resolved in GDR2. That's not the case. It still prompts for the PIN when you go to Kids Corner.

Maybe that's not a bug. Think about it. When you are in Kid's Corner, you can click on customize, once inside of there you have access to the entire photo gallery. If you didn't require the password, anybody grabbing your phone without your knowledge can see all your pictures.
