WP Central update 3.8/9

This update is very buggy on Nokia Lumia 620, pressing on wallpaper force closes back to Windows home screen, pressing apps, does sometimes and when you press back button, again force closes. Just unstable, shame the previous version worked like a charm

Why does it show under background tasks? What does it do?

Because the app uses push notifications.

It doesn't! It is filed as only requiring
media playback
data services
movement and directional sensor
HD720P (720x1280)
WVGA (480x800)
WXGA (768x1280)

Have you never used this app before? When there is a new article to read you will get a push notification and a tile count. Maybe you have to turn that on but it is there.

The background tasks are for the sound streaming API and for updating live tiles, as confirmed by the developer.

it caused my phone to reboot when it installed. my phone probably needed a reboot anyways, so I guess you could call it a feature.

Why do you have to select the plain tile count so the lock screen icon can work? I really want the lock screen support to work but i find the plain tile count do frikkin' ugly as ****!

wpcentral tile busted

The tile doesn't update in my lumia 800 post update... Tried repinning n reinstalling. Still the same. Anyone else has this prob? Any solutions?
