WP community is a buch of elitist fanboys

Seriously it gets worse and worse everyday.
If you say that android or iOS is better at something or had better apps you get threats and insults. It's real unpleasant, it's near impossible to have disscusion. Because you get sent to **** yourself or go back to android and etcetra.
I like WP, it's the best OS for me out of 3. But i know it's not perfect or even sucks at some spots. Each time i mention something bad about it i get called android ******, even thought android experience was a pain in the *** for me.
And WP elitists seems even more aggresive at WPCentral site. It seems like they could kill you for your comments. Situation is better on TheVerge site, people are more mature there and prepared to disscus. However WPCentral is just good for praying to WP and trolling/insulting each other.
I mentioned flaws of WpCentral app, with proper arguments and even mentioned that android app just feels better.
What did i got as a reply? Well - **** you dumbasss, you *******, ******* whiny kid, your ******* stupid, your grammar sucks go back to android, android ******, just leave WP.
Is it good? For me it's an unpleasant experience being a part of short minded elitist mule band.
And seriously i could make a thread how flawed WPCentral app is, but i probably would get burned for that or killed

PLUS there are these guys asking stupid question which are answered a million times before in other threads or articles...
Or things you could just google. Why do they ask here and wait for the answer instead of looking it up themselves in 10 secs?

Yeah, WPCentral should highlight search, because it's getting ridiculous.
Will WP8.1 run on my Lumia 520? Will it run on 525? Will it run on Lumia 3310? There's already answers everywhere. It takes 1 second to bing or google it and answer comes on top instantly

Hang out on any Apple community... they're the biggest snobs ever. To them everything that isn't an iPhone or iPad is a cheap ghetto plastic piece of junk for people who are too broke to afford an iPhone... and a lot of the Android communities get all the rejected Linux elitists who can't grasp the concept that most people just don't want to sudo apt-get everything from terminal.

The underdog usually has the most sane users... and this place isn't near as bad as some of the groups I've been on.

This is a site focused on Windows Phone, go to android Central or the iphone equivalent, not really much of a difference.

XDA forum which is mainly android users is really mature.
I just want to see WPCentral clean from BS questions and insults. It has to become strict.

For example Lithuanian forum which i visit frequently has very very strict rules. Almost any off-topic disscusion or insults leads you to 1-2 weeks brake, which is a good thing and if you keep doing your **** you get a warning, that warning lasts for several months. If you get another warning it becomes a ban.

This forum is pretty much do and write anything you want. It doesn't have to stay this way. It needs competent moderators who would be prepared to deal with all **** in this site.

I'm partially with you here. I have nearly 200 points here against me and have had nearly 2 weeks of forced 'vacation' because I won't put up with people who treat me like crap and want to argue.

It evidently is fun to attack folks who are blunt and honest. Honesty and being direct are 'dirty' things these days.

It's why I post almost nowhere. I get sick of the attacks that I get.

Mention that I have worked for MS to show how I know certain things? Well then I am called a braggart with a big ego.

Tell someone insulting me to f off, get banned for 'personal attacks'.

Have someone tell me that they wish they lived closer to me so that they could help me kill myself, and then tell staff about it? The staff member I tell calls me an a**.

Personally I wonder why I even bother anymore. Technology and gaming used to be shy nerds rejoicing in occasionally finding another nerd.

Now it's about trying to be alpha male as much as the bullies you claim to hate and attacking each other over things that should be fun.

Nerds are becoming the new aggressive bullying jocks...and it is disturbing.
