WP8 Artist Images

Hi everyone, this is my first "post" so please be kind =D

So I've decided to share this with the community, I love WP and how it integrates the music artist images on the lockscreen, music hub etc but what I hated most is the high majority of images used are either pixelated, lores, unflattering or off centered etc etc. I wish I could pick my own and change the images.

Thanks to MPATool I could =D. They even had images for me to select from which is cool but certain things that I couldn't settle down to use ie, low res, the images did not span in the music, contrast / brightness / hue / saturation were off to my liking.

So I created my own...yes I do like to have control of how certain things are displayed. I've even gone as far as edited all the album artwork as well on all my albums.

Skydrive is where the images are stored. It's currently open for the public to view...I'm not sure about opening for people to upload or add their own at the moment...

I've also added a template in the folder for anyone who would like to create their own. The size I use is 1900 x 1280, 72 dpi.

If anyone would like to help me create more beautiful artist images left me know. I still have 160 artists to make from my music library.

same here, I moved to WP last week & I love it ... , especially the music features (My 8X is my media player).
Also like you , I do like to have control how certain things are displayed :/
I'll try MPATool when I get some free time & see how it goes !

What dimensions are you using for the album arts ?
Most of my music have 300x300 album arts , I used to have a Sony Ercisson W910i back in the day , While a great a Music player , It couldn't recognize any album art above 300x300 & then I got my iPod touch (1st gen back in '07) & it looked okay so I sticked with it .

My album art is 1000x1000 or 1500x1500 72dp. Anything lower than 1000x1000 is unacceptable unless it can't be helped =/

I could upload my album art as well if anyone's interested in that.

So if i was to try to do the same thing for my artist backgrounds, how would i access the pictures i saved to my skydrive, to be able to attach them? Sorry, i am not very experienced with skydrive
