WP8 + Hotmail - deleted messages return?

Has anyone experienced, when using Windows Phone 8 and a Hotmail account (which would add via Exchange), if they delete a message and push the sync button - the message(s) return?

I was experiencing this issue until I set the phone not to check mail past 30 days. However, the three messages in question weren't in the inbox on outlook.com or deleted items folder. I had already removed them.

The problem is solved, anyone have any tips in case it happens in the future?

Why would you add a Hotmail account via exchange? I would add it so that it is done natively. It works the best IMHO.

I have noticed when I delete email sometimes it doesn't sync right away. I always press the sync button when I am done.

It's added the native way... it runs off Exchange.

Sorry, I was thinking you added it manually. After you delete a message on your phone, outlook 2013, always press sync for your phone, and send and receive in Outlook 13.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Something to do with the Outlook (desktop app) copy of the message getting confused with the phone, or w/e other devices are in play. Seems it should be 'instant'... alas, we can't have all we want!
