Previously, on my Lumia 800 wp7 when at home indoors, location services would immediately have an accurate fix for me. I'm assuming this is due to location services using wifi to locate.
On my Lumia 925 (And my wife's) I notice that it seems to default back to the cell tower location initially, putting me several miles away, and will take a while to get a more accurate fix, almost to the point where I don't think it's using wifi to locate at all. The most annoying part is that I quote enjoy seeing my geotagged photos on a map, but they're all showing up in the wrong places!
Anyone found similar? I wondered if it was maybe my phone at first, but then my wife went and got one as well and it seems to behave exactly the same.
Cheers,
Alan
