Xbox 360 HD Drive Enclosure

Has anyone tried an Xbox 360 drive enclosure with a custom drive? Does it work... how do you have to format the hd?

You can get banned for it. There have been guides to do it with a WD Scorpio, but that was years ago. If you look online, you can probably find it.

You can't get banned for it, I made sure. I actually called up a MS rep who was very nice and just flat out asked, she said we would have no way of knowing. I asked about warranty and she told me if something breaks you can remove the drive and no one would know. It's completely safe. Trust me. You can find a case on Amazon for less than 10 and a 250 GB HDD for 40. You use a program called HDD Hacker install it on a flash drive and boot to it. It's MS-DOS, look it up you tube. To make a drive it takes 5 minutes. Been using my custom drive for 6+ months.
