XBOX games on the app store

Can someone explain to me about this. Now if I had to guess I would say the green XBOX titles are the newer games which are made for Winp8 and the white were for the old winp7. But I don't understand because some apps are HD with the White title. If you don't know what im talking about its the XBOX labelled games that are in the store and the colour thing.

The Xbox Live titles' color for a game doesn't necessarily mean that its for a certain build of Windows Phone, unless specified. (Green=WP8, White=WP7) Many of the older apps that have now been given the newer Xbox Live title with a green background still appear with the older white background Xbox Live title as well once the installation has been completed and made visible in the Games Hub. A few games originally created for WP7 still work on WP8 also.
