Xbox one display issue

I have seen recently that when my x1 is off overnight and i turn it on that the screen is dim. If i turn it off and remove the hdmi cable and plug it back in to the X1 then turn it back on it comes up just fine.... Anyone else seeing this?

The Xbox One has screen dimming on by default if I recall correctly. You can wake up the display by pressing any button on my controller or yelling at it (if you have a Kinect).

I found i need to update the controller firmware after connecting it and doing this seems the problem is gone.
