XboxOne Remote Control (non IR)

Is there a remote for the Xbox One that doesn't use IR? I've got my xbox in a cabinet and am looking to control it without having to have the door open. I bought the Insignia Remote from BestBuy thinking that it would connect via the included usb dongle but it only uses that for the keyboard on the back and not for the basic controls. Let me know if anybody has found something or figured out a solution.

I use my phone, Just open the xbox app, and connect it to your xbox. You can use it as a remote or controller.
