Xeon vs i7 laptop CPUs?

What are the differences between Xeon and i7 laptop processors? Which one is better than the other?

The rule of thumb is the higher the TDP of the CPU, the lower battery life you will have and higher amount of heat generated.

Which is why you see most laptop processors are Ultra Low Voltage or ULV and i7 dual cores on the high end.
