Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platformer along the lines of Banjo-Kazooie. While the original game featured plenty of charm, the platforming wasn't that great. However, it seems like the team went back to the drawing board after that because Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair features tight controls and 2D levels.
