Mesh networking has come into style in the last couple of years, and it's especially popular with those who have a large area to cover. These systems generally employ multiple nodes that all communicate with each other, sending out a unified signal for your devices. This is different from most classic network extenders, which move you between SSIDs as you come in and out of range.
