Most PC builds will take into account a motherboard that costs in the region of $150-$400 if you're going with a B550 or X570 chipset board for AMD processors. The A520 chipset is the budget side of the scale that strips out PCIe 4.0 support, overclocking, and has a low number of fast USB ports. Where it does better than the rest of the chipsets is price.
The ASUS Prime A520M-K won't win any awards for benchmark results, nor will it allow you to overclock an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor, but it does cost just $76 at MSRP. For Prime Day, this price has been knocked down to a ridiculous $58, making it one of (if not) the most affordable motherboards for Ryzen 5000 series CPUs.
