Your Yahoo account settings are out of date

I got this error out of nowhere this morning on my phone.

It asked me to enter my credential again, but I have no luck to let phone accept it even I have entered the correct one.

I opened my browser to log in to Yahoo mail, everything just worked fine.

Anyone has some clue?

You could try and re-add the account.

I have the same problem, on both PC and Lumia 640, latest build, on Fast Ring.. I re-added the accounts, but the problem persists.
Even my wife's L520 has the same problem, with W8.1.
I think it's something from Yahoo... They changed something.

I get that message sometimes too. I just hit cancel and it continues working. I got an email from Yahoo the other day saying they noticed I was using an insecure mail client and to use one of their apps instead. Maybe it's related, not sure.

I've getting the same message since changing my password earlier this week because of the security breach. I can access through my browser but not through the client on my Windows Phone 10. I keep updating with new password and have cleared my cache and reset.
