Youtube video scrubbing issues

It seems that no matter which method I access youtube on my 2520, I can't get properly functioning scrub forward/reverse controls. While it sometimes works, more often than not I'm stuck having to reload the video to get it to play again. This is very frustrating and even affects videos in IE. Has anyone else experienced this? I've tried several apps and they all behave similarly. Is there one that seems to work better than others?

I have noticed the same thing on my Surface RT... I don't have a real fix, but MetroTube seems to work best for me, however it is not perfect... :unhappy:

Yeah, MetroTube is probably the best I've found as well. I suspected it might be an RT problem as I never have issues on my desktop.

What does "scrubbing" mean in the context of YouTube videos?

Moving forward or backwards through the video. I'm specifically talking about dragging the cursor to a different spot on the timeline.

Ahh, I see...that's odd, I never had too much trouble doing that with mine. I use Hyper on my 2520 for YouTube videos.

I had this problem but its been fine for a couple of weeks, it was really bad if I had the quality on 1080p. I use 720p as max setting now.
