Youtube has suddenly stopped working, just says can't play this video on your phone. Has google pulled the plug again?

Nope. If your device is running windows phone 8.1 , this is a known issue.

Hi thanks for the answer, I'm running win 8 on a Nokia 920. All the videos from news streams, Facebook, apps using youtube links seem to have stopped working. What's happening, don't think I have changed anything recently.

Try to reset your wifi router/settings. Are you able to browse youtube videos on other devices also try to play a video by using mobile data

Don't do hard reset change the setting from mobile to desktop in ie it works for me when i was facing this problem but now its work fine in my phone after sometime
