Email Problems

I have a TP2 with US Cellular. I have my email accounts set up to do an automatic send / receive every 5 min, but it seems to take anywhere from 10 min. to 2 hours for email to come through. I have deleted the email accounts and re set them up and I have called US Cellular and the re set the phone, but nothing seems to work. There is no consistency in when it gets the emails it just seems to be a random amount of time. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solutions. I am about to return it and go back to my blackberry.
