trouble with text messaging, please help

my incoming texts no longer say the time they were received. it just shows up the date they were received so now i can never figure out what time something was sent. does anyone know how to fix this issue? ive looked in every setting and cant find anything. please help because this is getting annoying

If the text message was sent on the previous day it will only display the date. So If you receive a text at 11:59 PM and look at it at 12:01 AM all you'll see is 02/11/10. Sorry

mine does this for all of my text messages that were received not just the ones from the previous day, even the ones on the same day

check the year does it show the year to be 2016? Something like 1/14/16
