Anybody disappointed that the Lumia 920 doesn't have a 4.8" screen?

NO. What is everyone's obsession with huge screens? I knew this would happen when samsung released the note

I have a 5" screen now and it's perfect. IMO 5" is the sweet spot.

I have a friend who can hold the original iPad in portrait mode with all four fingers on one side and his thumb on the other, yet he carries a Razr M so yeah.

4.7-4.8" seems to be the norm for flagship phones these days and the Lumia 920 has a 4.5" screen. Anybody think Nokia will come out with a bigger screen later? Possibly with 1280 X 768 resolution?

I'm not disappointed because I really mark 'single-hand operation' as very important when buying phones. I find that the 4.5" screen on the Lumia 920 is already big that I can't really operate it properly with single hand. What more with a 4.8" screen? With big bezel to combine with? Not ideal for me...

As a result, that's why I went with the Lumia 620. I can operate the phone single-handedly without any issue and to me, 3.8" is already enough

Em.. Most units shipped doesn't equate to it being the highest selling but yeah, the Galaxy S3 is the best selling smartphone all around the world. Definitely

The size of the screen doesn't determine a phone to be the best selling. If that phone is good, it will sell well, granted with a 3.8" screen or a 5" screen...

I use my GS3 for a lot of media and therefore for my purposes, the bigger the screen the better. I'd love to see a 5.5" WP offered as an option this year. I miss WP and would love to come back but I want a bigger screen. I'm definitely in the minority here.

I'd have honestly preferred a 4 or 4.3 inch screen.

The L920 is a bit too big for me.

Nokia would be smart to have a range of sizes: 3.6, 3.8, 4.0, 4.5, 4.8 etc.

2013 is all about bigger better than last year! Apple, Nokia, Samsung etc are all jumping on the 1080p bandwagon!

- Apple iPhone 5S 4.5" 1080p
- Nokia Lumia 940 4.7" 1080p
- Samsung GS4/ATIV S2 5" 1080p
- etc etc.

This how I see it! All the phone's coming should be the same size with bezel less edge to edge display.

Holy ****, phones are getting almost too big. They are supposed to be convenient devices you can store in a pocket. Not re-arrange your wardrobe so you can have pockets large enough for them! Can someone request that common sense please return to the world of phone design?

So to answer the original question. NO, I am not disappointed.

Yes. Phones are too small and need to get closer to tablet size. My trophy rattles around in my pocket like a piece of change.
I need a phone that can fill my pocket instead of forcing me to re-arrange my wardrobe so that I have small pockets for tiny phones.

So to answer the original question. YES, I am disappointed.

Not disappointed at all. My choice of screen size goes from 3.5" to 4.5" so it's all good.
