    WOuld that mean it would work on AT&T LTE in the U.S. as well? I'd LOVE to hear that-- since I'm buying off-contract anyway I don't like the idea of having a locked phone.

    Yeah, same here. When Nokia didn't remove that WCDMA Band IV (1700) from their global site, I started to wonder if they lied about it being an error. What's up with that?

    Who knows. It wouldn't be exclusive to AT&T if people knew they could run it on T-Mobile.

    I wonder if the Network Setup app will still be AWOL with WP8.

    It disappeared right around the time the 900 came out so I am guessing that was a way for them (ATT and Nokia) to have unlocked phones not work on other carrier networks.
