Possibly, if its just an exact copy of the M8 now, even better. But if they mess with it like removing the SD card or something, then no.

If they have improved the camera, so something like 12 megapixel Ultra Pixel lens then definitely, otherwise I'll wait to see if Microsoft can impress me October

With qi charging yes, in a heart beat. Without..... Erm, maybe, maybe the 1520 or 930 instead

Having swapped from the Android M8 to the Icon something would have to be done about the 4 mega pixel camera. Ultra pixel aside it was a disappointing experience.

The m8 camera should've been left in 2006 and it will lack so many features that us Nokia users gold dear that switching would be nothing but a painful downgrade.

HTC knows how to make phones. They're only problem is they got too big for their britches and started being jerks to their customers and let Samsung come in and eat their lunch. If they go back to basics and focus on providing great devices with fantastic support I'd be all over it.

    Loved my HTC Evo.

I can't think of an HTC device that I actually wanted after the nexus One... Everything else has been pretty much the same thing on repeat

If the camera is improved upon, and it's available in Canada (unlike the 925, 930, and 1520), it will be a tempting option. I'm trying to hold out for a 1020 successor, but it's a challenge. :p

No way...if they improve the camera maybe I would consider it as a third choice...

If they add a better camera I'd buy as soon as it comes out but if they keep the Ultra Pixel camera I'd get a 1520.

Ehh doubtful. It would have to really wow me. Nokia makes the best windows phone imo.

    And that camera is horrendous.

I'd buy just about any high end WP on T-Mobile.

Instead Verizon will get yet another premium phone while I'm still stuck with a 635.

After owning a HTC 8X, no I would not get another HTC Windows Phone, simply because Nokia gets all the love, and HTC hardly supports their WP devices... We know 8.1 Is coming for us HTC users, but no one actually knows when, its quite funny.

Definitly getting the W8! Loved my 8X till I had to turn it back in (leased) and I'm now running a NL630. It's a good phone as I wait for HTC's new phone. But I hope they also come with a mini version. Something like the 8S was to the 8X.

If this comes to Europe Id be very, very tempted. Im a little concerned about the lack of wireless charging after being spoiled by my Lumia, but man the M8 is a work of art

I had an M7 and it is a beautiful device. That said, Nokia phones are no slouch in build quality. I would say it would only be tempting if you were looking to upgrade or are new to windows phones. If you have a higher end Nokia, save your money.

It would be a no for me, Nokia has been by far the best company in terms of support and updating devices. I broke my headphones like 3 times and they replaced them each time and also send me a brand new L710 when the camera was broken.

Having owned the HTC One for a time, I actually didn't mind the camera. The pictures, while not Pure View-good, impressed me in the right conditions, and the camera was fast. Really fast. Also, the phone felt amazing, the screen was beautiful, call quality was amazing, and the Boom Sound speakers were absolutely to-die-for.

My biggest objection? HTC's absolute insistence upon placing the power button on the TOP of a huge, hulking mass of a phone. My hands aren't small, but I'd still have to shift the entire phone around to b-a-r-e-l-y reach that tiny-a$$ power button. Ridiculous. Double-tap to wake will help, but not with turning the screen off. Bad design move, HTC. Bad.

That said, I'm glad that HTC is still trying. They generally make nice phones and have interesting technology that they attempt to differentiate with. I like that. I'm not sure how firmly they'll stand behind WP in the future, which is a big concern, but they're a solid company in a lot of ways. I welcome the HTC One for Windows to the family :)
