Statistically, you're right, but whether such a person would speak up is unlikely (although I'd love to be wrong.)

As far as most of us has been concerned, there was some rumor here and there, but no smoking guns so to speak.

yea I'm looking to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile. my family is WP-only and apart from the mediocre L635 and the crappy L530 I don't see anything worth buying on T-Mobile. they even discontinued their L925.

Was hoping to see some news here but nothing here. I hope something get's announced soon. Not sure how much longer my 8x will last...or how much longer I'll tolerate the random reboots.

TK Tech News is reporting that "up to 5 or more" Windows Phone devices are coming to T-Mobile between now and the holidays. I'd take that info with a grain of salt but it wouldn't surprise me to see at least 2 or 3, including something on the high end.

This is exciting - we've already got 630, 530 is confirmed, and I think 730, 830, and 1525 are safe bets for the rest.

Our best hope for a decent upgrade right now is the rumored Lumia 830 that should be announced September 4th at IFA.

I'm really taking a liking to this device early on. Only disappointed for me is the rumored 4.5" display :(. Even 4.7" would be disappointing to me. I'd want it no bigger than 5.5" and no smaller than 5." That's what she said. Oh, and a removable back cover since I get bored with the color and would prefer to swap it out.

Pretty sure the 1525, 730, and 830 are coming to Tmobile. I am wondering though if the 930 will make it...

My thoughts exactly. I'm happy with my 1520.3 (save for the swipe/tap/scroll bug and maybe the size to a degree) but I'm strongly considering swapping it with a 930. I just think its beautiful aesthetically. So is the 1520, but it follows the same design language as all the high end Lumias since 2011, so I guess I'm just a little tired of it. Considering the 930 is a downgrade in terms of battery life, storage (though microSD support isn't that important to me), and lack of Glance Screen... I'm not also willing to do without LTE on top of that. So if no North American variant of the 930 hits our shores, I'll either stick with my 1520 or see just how good the 830 is.

Ah, the rumored 1525. If T-Mobile does get such a device I think I would make the sacrifice of having a larger than preferred phone with SD expansion, better processor, and great camera for my perfectly sized 1020 with the best camera but outdated processor and fixed storage capacity. Plus with the battery of life of the 1520 and the huge screen, I could really see myself gaming a lot more on the phone and renting movies.

Where did you hear this? At this point I'd be surprised if the 1525 was real let alone coming to TMO. I'd be the first inline to pick it up, but I have 0 confidence in TMO to do anything worthwhile.

Yes T-Mobile fans are getting at least one premium device this fall. This may be my go to phone and I'll just use my compact DSLR more as a carry-along in a small bag to take more serious, planned photos. The One will do for every day casual snaps..

So HTC has made things very interesting now. Seeing that this is the only high end Windows Phone coming out this fall, is it worth the sacrifice of a lesser camera experience and everything else save for removable batter or will Nokia/Microsoft raise the bar of what mid range means with the 830? The One really provides a unique experience as opposed to what I'm used to with Nokia.
