Why every Lumia is built with at least one defect? Is this a market strategy?
Why doesn't they build a perfect phone?

I didn't know there was such thing as a perfect phone. Please give me a non-Windows Phone example of a perfect phone.

For instance, just launched 830 with 1 MP front facing camera. That's ridiculous. At the least,2 MP could have made that a perfect mid range phone.

1. 1MP is low, need at least 2MP.
2. 2MP is low, need at least 3MP.
...
9999. front facing is crap, stahp MS.

Even my 1520 doesn't have a 2MP FF camera.

Anything and everything is bound to have at least one defect, no matter how much time and work is put into it. Even the great iPhone had lock button defect.

The iPhone IS a defect. lol

Though I think the OP is meaning to say shortcoming instead of defect as jakez98 has said. There is no such thing as perfect, what one person likes another may not. There is ALWAYS a tradeoff no matter what anybody says or thinks, it always exists!

I'll point out a phone that didn't had any shortcoming:

Nokia N8, but it couldn't out sell the galaxy sII. which only had "thin" for an advantage.

Are.

You.

High?

Anyway, those aren't really called defects. Defects are like the NL930, a lot WPCentral forum members had reported several issues like screen miscalibration. You are highlighting on the lack of good internal parts (as of your opinion).

People can't expect to have the best of too many worlds. You want good battery life? Or you want good screen? A qHD screen significantly requires more battery power to light up compared to a HD screen, not to mention more ram required. You wan big battery? Then you must sacrifice on thicker bezels / thicker phone / thinner casing. Like you mentioned, at least 2 MP front facing camera? I'm sure many will tell you that resolution does not convert to image quality. To divide a sensor of a same size to more divisions (more megapixels), the area of light per pixel will reduce (>micron size). This will cause the light capturing ability of the sensor to reduce. The way to solve this is by using a large aperture or use a larger sensor. But then, a larger sensor directly translate to a thicker phone, not to mention the longer focal length needed. If the light capturing ability is reduced, in low light situations there may be a huge presence of noise of camera blur (due to long exposures).

See? We can't just get everything in one package. Sometimes, we have to compromise. Although there's all the talk about the "affordable flagship" stuff, its up to you to think that is that the "flagship" you want? (I don't really consider it a flagship though).

Considering the price... It's still up to you to think whether it's a good buy or not.

Yep. It's a shortcoming.i meant to say that they build every Lumia with a shortcoming.
920-no SD card
820,720-512mb RAM
930-no glance screen,no SD card
1520-should have been a 5" phone
830-1 MP front facing camera
730-no glance screen

1520 - should have been 5" phone. Are you mad? That phone is 6 inch for a reason. There's a reason behind the presence of nl930...

You might as well say that Lumia 520 lack glance, audio. Sd805 quad core, 41mp camera, 2 GB ram...

Well, you can see that I'm comparing only high end and mid range. Kindly have a look.
And I really like the Lumia 930(mini 1520), but glance screen was missing.

Although the word defect doesn't really apply here, he has a good point. We need a Lumia killer phone that covers all features one could wish for, that are found spread out over different lumias.

For me Lumia 1520 already carry the flag ship marking for Lumia family and then someone just keep complaining about its size... What else of practical hardware is lacking in Lumia 1520???

830 is good with what all options it has...mostly perfect for normal use. If you think 1 MP FF cam is a shortcoming, then most of the other Non WP phones are crap in your thought since they use to have 1.2 MP FF cam.

I think N8 had only Xenon flash and I think it couldn't be used as video light so there was no video light on N8. So that was a shortcoming, at least for me.
