the 950 .... maybe. I've got to have hands-on feel. I need to see if 5.2 inches will work for me. I've determined that a 5 inch screen is max for my comfort and I'm not sure about 5.2. I'll see. If not, I'm happy with my 830 and M8.
I feel the same way. My 940 is at the outside edge of comfort for me size-wise, and the 950 is bigger. But who am I kidding? Imma buy a 950.

I was almost certain that I would get a 950 due to the size, but having held and used my girlfriend's 640 XL, I really like the 5.7 inch size. I had no trouble holding and using it comfortably. So am strongly considering an unlocked 950XL now to go along with a switch from T-Mobile to Cricket.

I want to believe the the rumored size of each of the handsets is wrong. When I look at the size comparison on Phonearena, Cityman looks particularly wide given the screen size. I suppose it's not horrible, but it's still wider than last year's Galaxy Note 4.

To the point: 950XL in a heartbeat if the price is under $600. If not, then the 950. If the XL is over $600 and the 950 is over $500, then the Moto X Pure or the Nexus 5X, and I'll come back to Windows Mobile when they offer up their business-class handset.

If the 950 had the same features of the 950XL then I would go with the 950. But built in Qi charging (what I am used to with the lumia 929) vs. Qi charging with flip cover, makes it an easy decision. 950XL. Although like I said I would prefer the 950XL specs with the 5.2 screen size. But ya cant have both now can you.

Oh and also the 950XL has support for the surface pen which 950 does not. Not to mention 810 vs. 808 and 3300 vs. 3000 battery. God MS edge really sucks on this site its missing tons of keystrokes.

I'm waiting on the finale design and specs, to decide it will have to be a large step-up over the 1520. What I've seen so far doesn't impress me for the price. I look for the finale design to be somewhat different from the prototypes we've been show. Plus I'll wait to see if people have hardware problems or any other issues as well. I'll ride my 1520 into the dust if need be.

I was hoping to get the 950 but after reading it may be AT&T only today and I am with Tmobile I may abandon windows phone. I don't switch providers for phones and tired of exclusive crap.

Either sounds nice, but I'd have to go with the bigger phone. More battery, and should have more viewing space for stuff. All that needs to happen now is a Crunchyroll update.

Assuming the rumored specifications are correct, both phones will have screen resolutions of 2560 x 1440px. Therefore, what advantage is there to getting the 950XL? Are the pixels larger or spaced further apart? If the resolution is the same, you won't actually get more on the screen.

While I'm excited about the announcements, it's too early to say for me. I'm still quite happy with the Icon and I'm not jumping into anything until I have all the facts and I can hold them in my hand.

I also want to see how the app situation plays itself out after the release of Win 10.

My first thought would be Cityman because My last 3 new phones also included a bigger screen and I never wanted to go back...

However I like the size of my 930 so perhaps if possible, I'd go to a store and take the Cityman in my hands to see how that goes...
Also, I'm a huge fan of built-in Qi charging :)

Im really not sure. Im using a 1020 and im a bit spoilt on the picture quality. I LOVE my xenon flash...that is a deal breaker for me. Was looking to get a 1520 as a media device but most of the apps I like aren't on wp (showbox movietube....suggestions?) but if push comes to shove id prob go 950xl...

I don't play games on my phones, noticed that for awhile but even on my iPhone I don't play any games, so everyday performance including browsing the web, Twitter, Crunchyroll and Hulu is key for me. Thinking i'm going with the 950XL just for the battery but I do really like the 950's 5.2" display size
