Does the Surface 3 announcement clear the way for a Surface Pro 4 announcement at Build?

I fully expected to get the Surface 3 announcement at Build later this month. Instead, Microsoft surprised everyone by suddenly announcing it yesterday. Any chance they have done this so that they can announce something else at Build? Like... a Surface Pro 4?

I wouldn't expect new hardware for Build, whenever the Surface Pro 4 gets announced I feel like they would give it its own stage and event as with previous ones. Maybe after build closer to RTM?
